me too....haven't been since early June last year..was absolutely killing them last spring on the KVD 1.5 sexy shad or a rattle trap same color....nothing huge but lots of numbers and a few in the 5-6 lb range.
I'm curious about running from say Johnson's down to the C77-78 area...

Shouldn't have any trouble since the lake is over full right now.

We are headed down there in April.

Key word being "shouldn't"....LOL....I'm always a tad puckered running down those lanes...I do know there are a couple big underwater stumps around C78 that are right in the center of the lane....I always come off plane in that area.

Have not been in along time but always did real well fishing the trees and around the Island in front of potters point. I caught an 8lber and probably 25 fish over 4 lbs in that one area one spring. Dont just fish the trees there is usually grass beds up close to the island with dood fish in the grass.

Last time I was on the lake was not this fall but the year before and there was grass all over the place. In the spring it was always hard to find it was always under the water it would not make it to the surface until atleast May. Was there not any grass on the lake this fall?

Caddo is great right now and has lots of grass you have to cover a lot of water but the big fish are there,,I have ran all over the lake this past month with no problem.

Still pads all over or did some of them die off since the lake was so low?

Just pad stems but the bass will be spawning all over the flats soon they were up two weeks ago but move back off with the cold snap
