Does anyone around the centex area have a line on some free 5 gal buckets? I have called everywhere and they either have someone getting them already or they are selling them. I will drive a couple hours away if you can get me a mass quanity of them.

I think I have a good source for PVC but i can always use more of that also.

Thanks guys

Home Depot has plenty of orange 5 gallon buckets.

If you are unable to find what you are looking for, send me a PM and I can hook you up. I work for an ink manufacturer and we keep tons of them at all times. I can help you get them where we get them. I do believe we get them locally, but I will have to confirm that.

Sorry, I did not read your post carefully. I did not see that you are looking for free buckets. I cannot help you there.

I've been going to local hamburger joints and collecting their used pickle buckets. They've been really nice about giving them to me. In return i'll buy lunch/dinner that day. Another good source for me has been the Bakeries in HEB/Walmart. They have icing buckets that are high quality and seem to work well for creating reefs and catfish bait.

Find a bakery,or a store such as an HEB with a big Bakery, they buy cake icing by 5 gallon buckets most places have mountains of them to throw away.

Dumpster dive the nearest homes being built around you. The painters throw away their buckets. Let the paint dry, water based, and peel it out....free buckets!

BBQ places usually sell them for 2 dollars each. Lowes has them for 2.50. Every time I have looked at the home depot buckets, they want closer to 5 dollars but they may have come down on the price some.

They're like hubcaps-I see them up and down the roads & highways but I have gone to fast food places and donut shops.
