Went back to LOP this morning, but didn't get there until about 9:00 b/c of the cold weather. When we got out of the truck at the launch me and my buddy looked at each other and he said, "What are we thinking?". Well, it turned out to not be so bad and the wind did not really give us fits except for the fact that it kept changing direction. It blew from every direction except the west. We caught #50 at 3:30 along with 20-25 big barfish. All fish caught drifting shiners in 20-24 feet of water, right off the bottom.

I was out there to on Sunday. Had a nice day without a ton of boats. I was using jigs on the edge of the creek out in the middle of the lake and managed a limit. Nice not having to stick my hand in the water to grab a minnow.
I was out there around 8:30 and left about 2:30. Nice to escape the crowd. I caught them from 19-28 ft. Wish they would stack up again like they did last year.
