Cleaning Yamaha Motor Cowling?

When dry, my motor cowling looks like it has water spots all over it. When i wipe it down its looks clean, but then spots come back. its like deposit build up that wont come off. Anyone know what might remove these?

Depends on how bad they are but if you have a buffer it usually does the trick...

Bow To Stern [BTS} boat polish apply to the whole rig. Makes it easy to wipe,the spots off.

Do you know where to get the PINK STUFF it works great I used to use it when I lived in Cali, thats where its made. Other than ordering it I can t find it here. They want like 14.50 to ship from cali.

If the spots are bad and none of the above mentioned products work then get some 3M Hand Glaze. That stuff takes any surface residue off. When you're finished with it apply a good coat of wax. I did it to mine last month and the cowling looks like new.
