There are bass in there as I have caught some albeit small. I think you just need to go deep with a worm for the bass.
I was actually going there tomorrow morning at about 7-7:30am.

I'm still in the process of locating these lakes and ponds but our chances get slimmer by the day due to the construction and most of these communities be gated. This has led me to try and persue another avenue and here is a link to my idea, http://www.texasfishingforum.com/.ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=31;t=000450.

I did hit one of the Cinco Ranch Blvd lakes yesterday morning and saw fish but could not get a fish. A guy I work with told me about it and said he has fished it with some success on worms.

I plan on hitting the Cinco Ranch lake again saturday morning so would anybody care to join me? If anyone has a kayak you can also use them as I see people yaking and canoeing there all the time.

I'm gonna be trying regular spinner baits this time with a grub tail and worms also. I was told that there was a kid catching 5-6lb bass on spinner baits one time.

The water is very clear and has great vegetation its just finding the right lure for them but they are there!!!

Let me know by friday if anyone wants to join me out there. Call me on my cell as I am working the toady, tomorrow and friday so calling me is the best chance to get ahold of me.

Gregg,

PS,
My cell took a dive in the flood waters the other day but I will be at the lake by 7am.

There is one in katy that is supposed to be pretty good, and not privateor something, but i cant find it. I cant even remember what road its off of, but apparantly, you drive down a dirt path to it??? I think its been referenced on this site before.

Well I got home about 30min ago, I was on the water by sun up, and once again did not get even a bite mad !! I did find a dead bass floating that was about 3-4lb's but he was slender with a big head which means the lake is over populated with perch who are eating all the bait fish the bass need.

I tried EVERY lure in my tackle box with no luck. I do not plan on ever going back there again because its to damn frustrating, over fished and has no management program.
