Its been my experience when fishing in snow, the fish I have caught wear those "snow goggles" the type that have a small split they can see thru so as not to :snow blind: them. You may have to use a different type dip net, one that is white so it blends with the snow coming down and not scare the fishes. Ia m sure more folks on here can give better info.than I
i am so funny today and only had 7 beers so far, no telling how i will get as the day progresses .HA HA HA HA HA HA

Is it just like rain or totally different outcome. I see you are about 500 miles north of where I live. Sometimes it snows up your way. Back in the seventies we would get down into the upper teens for an hour or two and sometimes, maybe every 5 years we would get a thin smattering of snow. Since 1983 we really haven't had anything below 29 degrees. The fish here seem to be more sensitive to temperature change. Below 50 degrees water temperature many stop feeding and it becomes hard to catch any. I think a lot of the fishermen are the same way. I can see some funny replies coming my way, but we actually do have a physiological adaptation to the climate here.
