I don't usualyy hit the forum up more than twice a week, and I usually don't say much. I ask more questions than anything. However, I have been reading a lot about boats crowding other boats and the inevitable desire to protect ones' fishing spot. For the record; if you're not fishing private water, then you're fishing in everyone's spot. That being said... DON'T be an [censored]! In Maine the state law was that you had to keep at least two lengths of your vessels length between you and another craft. It allows for sudden manuevering if wind or storms suddenly pop up. Most of us treat our boats like our....well you know. So. be safe and don't be an [censored].

I guess you're saying don't be an #*%^$ by pulling up on someone while they're fishing a particular spot???

If so, I agree 100%.

Pretty much. I just think you should look out for your own safety as much as someone else's. Besides my Daddy always said, "Boy, don't be a douche!"

I never pull up to someone while they are fishing. Unless I see them catch one. Then I will go over and try to snatch a couple.

Really!? I think that's what everyone is talking about.....that's rude! Find your own spot especially if you see he/she is catching!

Why do you need to find your own spot when someone else already proved the fish are there? Makes catching easy and I prefer catching over just fishing.
