Since I now use a uni-knot and tie fresh InvizX onto old line I am wondering how long I can store a 1,000 yd spool in cool and dry conditions and have it still remain fishable?

Thanks in advance for your feedback!

I once spoke with someone at Pure Fishing regarding the shelf life of my Trilene Flourocarbon. They told me that while mono has a 2 year shelf life, the flouro does not have an expiration/shelf life.

I bet there isn't much difference with the InvisX.

If that's not good enough then you could call and ask.

A few years ago. I had a spinning reel spooled with the 8lb InvisX and used it for a year. The next year I reeled it off that spool onto another and fished it for another year.
