Evening y'all

I stepped out today for a few hours. I felt a bit miserable being there in the 42 degree temp and wind gusts.

The action was very slow, nothing in jigs or soft plastics. The thing that produced was this Bomber deep diver crank.
The only action was a 1 pound bass and this 4.5 pounder that put up a nice fight.

I loved the huge belly in her.
However, while unhooking her, I found a nice surprise

Nice job, especially in this temps. Is that a model A?

Sorry about the undetailed pic.
I quickly took a few photos and released it back.
The temps were in the low 40s with 10-15 mph winds and I was shivering like crazy.

That was a either bluegill or other small fish's tail sticking out of her throat.

I think this is the biggest LMB I caught from here: 4 lbs 8 oz

Pretty nice for a small thin creek...

Adanv, I thought it was. Those Model A's are some sweet cranks! I use the chart/black back. Only bait I've caught a back to back on. Going pu a Silver Flash next time out. Didn't know they made em in that color. Of course, I pu mine at Wally World which doesn't have much of a color selection.
