looking for an open backseat, was wondering if Belton has a bass club with events, and if anyone needs a partner, will try partner finder as well, but curious if there is a belton club.

There is a lucky strike bass club out of the Killeen area that fishes lake Belton and Stillhouse and also I think they do some away lakes from time to time. I herd the cost was $24.00 a year club fee and then $40.00 per tournament that you fish, they have both boat ownwers and non boat owners. If you have a face book account search for it and then they have pics and you can also get in touch that way with them.

I was wondering the same thing. Would be nice to get with a few people and learn the tricks of bass fishing since all my knowledge lies in Walleyes of the north.

There is also a club named CenTex Basshunters in the Temple/Belton area. They meet at the VFW heading towards Temple lake park the first Monday of every month at 6-7. GREAT bunch of guys to fish with. They have boater & non-boaters that fish. I was a non-boater till I could no longer afford the trips out of town. frown They utilize a draw format, which is great because you get to fish with different people every month and learn new ways of fishing. Search for them on Facebook. They have a page if you need to contact someone on there.
