This tournament will go down as a record for lowest winning weight ever in a BASS event. I know there are a lot of pros pizzed that they came here and I'd bet they don't have it on Looserville next year. Any takers? And then a tie for 1st? WOW! I think the other guy's name is Josh Bertram.
The fish off will be interesting I wonder if it's a full day? They should move it to Eagle Mountain next year!!! I'd vote for EM.

Temps in the twentys, winds in the thirtys. I went to the weigh in and it was miserable.

this lake is awsome, we cant predict what mother nature will produce before the tournaments starts, today they are predicting that we will have sleet and snow this evening. the lake was 7ft low and now is 1/2 foot low so it came up 6 1/2 feet. This lake was kicking out 20lb stringers before the rains brought up the lake, the fish dont usually have a lot of trouble filtering into the now shallow water but the time of year and weather conditions must have been a big factor. If they have it here again next year I will try to fish it again. This is why they are pro's they are supposed to find a way to win in any adverse conditions. There are a lot of tournaments that the starting time is held back and delayed due to weather, or even cancelled for the day. and they have to deal with short days or that they have enough weight from the day before to carry over for the win.

BASS could wait a month? I think that would be a good idea.

The lake is garbage. Possibly the worst lake in North Texas

The lake is garbage. Possibly the worst lake in North Texas Go fish Ray Roberts today (or better yet the last three days) and get back with us with pictures on how you did in these conditions. Everybody on here except a few have very short memories. This is the same lake that KVD set the damn lake record here that was either over 10 or 11 lbs. Since then, it's been broken twice. The elite pros were catching them when the weather was different. The final weigh in was tougher for the last 12 standing, but that's because BASS shut about 80% of the lake off. Right?

You can blake the weather or the rising water or whatever you want. If they were on another lake, any other lake, the weights would have been higher. And Ray Roberts sucks too, btw. I understand why they chose Lewisville and it isnt because of the quality of the lake.

I am by no means saying Lewisville is known for being a great bass lake, but it does have bass in it, and big ones too. This lake is close to BPS...
