We just moved back to the great state of Texas after being away for 20 Years. I used to love fishing Lake Fork but we now live about 40 minutes west of Ft. Worth and I am a lot older so the idea of driving to East Texas does not thrill me. I am looking for something a lot closer and easier since I want to take my children with me. On the internet I found a nearby private fishing club called Supreme Bass that is close to our home. It is also has trout which I got into fishing for while living up North.

Anybody familiar with Supreme Bass and can you let me know if it is worth while or not. It is pretty expensive and and for 6 months costs $595 for just myself and $795 with the kids.

Thanks.

welcome
To the forum.

You may wantto check out privatewaterfishing.com

They have a few private waters in your area and from what I have read are quite a bit less expensive than the other club you mentioned.
Good luck!

I don't know these "Supreme Bass" folks, but for $1600 a year family membership, if its any account, isn't that bad.

I do know the Private Water Fishing folks and know their deal is a good one with a lot of different lake options, especially in your area. I hardly ever endorse anybody for any reason, but would highly recommend you look those folks up prior to making a decision.

I own my own fishing club in Brazoria County (Lake Fork would be a lot closer to you than I am) and charge considerably more than either of those. But is is also hunting, ATVs, bird watching, and other outdoors stuff with a lodge 4 intensely managed bass lakes from 10 to 63 acres and 600 acres of duck ponds. Apples and oranges.....

good people.. fished it once right when they restocked it and i had to catch about 50 or 60 bass if about 3 hours.. they said there are bigger bass in there but we didnt catch any that day, the ones we caught were all about 2 pounds or a little bigger... they have three lakes.. two of the bigger ones are for bass and trout and i think they have some hybrids mixed in there as well.. they have a smaller pound filled with catfish and i heard they have some big ones there.. but we didnt fish it.
