I have a couple buddies that want to go fish for whites in Bedias Creek next Friday, if the weather holds. I've never been, so I don't know when the whites start moving. If anyone has fished it before or this year, I would like to hear your reports.
Also, what has me more concerned is the creek itself. I know nothing about it, and they want to go in my boat. I have read about a public ramp called Pete's, and that most guys recommend using a 4x4 truck especially after rains. I just want to know how hard it is to launch, and what the creek is like regarding water depth, difficulty to navigate, sand bars, etc.
I have a 16' aluminum Lowe semi v with a 40 hp Mercury, with manual tilt. I also don't have a jack plate. So I am hesitant to put my boat in and end up getting in a bind. Any information is appreciated. Thanks.
