My pard and I are heading to Granbury next Thursday to pick up his new boat @ Fun-n-Sun. We plan to fish for a couple of days before heading back to Amarillo. Whick lake/lakes would ya'll recommend. This is his 1st boat ever (21' TRITON) so I'm also teaching him how to operate the rig. Thanks for your suggestions.

Thanks Fisher. Do I still have to wait until Monday the week of the trip to make a reservation or can I call now?

Yes Monday register online. Cleburne is also close. Small but a blast to fish it has everything to offer grass, rocks, stumps, reeds, and pads. Although its too early for the pads to come in.
