Has anyone been out on twin buttes or nasworthy crappie fishing yet? Or now how they are biting. I'm going out today to check it out.

Any luck?? I'm confused when I go to twin buttes now. Very little cover left under water.

Try off the West end of the bridge, that goes over nasworthy. Will be Nasworthy Marina on the right. You can turn off, and double back along the rip-rap back towards the lake. Big Private tin covered dock at the end of the road. Just park out of the way, and fishunder the bridge with lights. We use to do really well.
Goodluck.

I'm new to West Texas fishing and have made a few unsuccessful trips to Spring Creek. Does anyone fish Spring Creek or know anything about getting to the creek somewhere closer to Twin Buttes? Not having a boat limits me to bank fishing but I enjoy hiking around anyways. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Keep on fishing.

We used to drop a canoo in there in Mertzon on spring creek. You can catch 2 pounders on top waters all day long. Also Texas rigged worms worked good. Lots of foliage to get hung up on but lots of fun.

Apparently you need to come back east for a day or so and catch some crappie.

Keep on fishing.
