Its very nice for the money...its not balanced as well as the other H2O ethos rods, but still very light for the size compared to others.

Plus it carrys Academys exchange policy if it breaks. (no questions asked)

I have 2 of the 7'6" XH. I like em. Use them for footballs, c-rigs, pitchin/flippin.

destroyed one on a hook set of a 2lb bass, academy replaced it no questions asked. I was pleased.

I have one and it works very well for the money. I have caught an 8.5lber and a 6.5lber with it and it has held up so far. Had it for 7 months or so. It is as light as higher end rods of the same length and action that I own.

I picked one up for$39 during the rod riot. The fuji alconite concept guides and ECS reel seet cost $30 plus bucks in themselves.I am very happy with mine.Very light and sensitive. If it ever breaks at that price Ill cut off the guides and trash it.

Bought 1 and on the first hookset it snapped in half....

Bought one,got it home put reel on it and tied on a jig. Went to flip it in yard to see how it handled a half ounce jig and rod tip snapped as soon as jigs weight hit it. I didn't even get to try it. Obviously this was a defect before I bought it but was just letting Ya know since Ya asked. And No I didn't get another one just my money back.

Thanks for the info, I seriously was thinking of buying one. Stick with a better quality rod.
