I was wondering about using 2 stroke synthetic oil, plus or minus? I have a small Mercury. Thanks

All of the 100% synthetics are superior to dyno oil, in a carb or efi two stroke. Only negative is the expense.

I have been running Amsoil 100 to 1 synthetic in my 120 Johnson for three years with no problems. Before that I ran it in my Evinrude 35 with equal results.

Try lucas 2 stroke semi synthetic. I have been using it in my 7.5hp merc.for about 4 months. No negatives.

Are Lucas and Amsoil rated TCW3 on the label???
Last time I checked they were NOT rated. Have they changed?

I have been using Penzoil full syn in my Merc 60 for the last two months and noticed that it seems to smoke less than with my old oil.

Lucas 2 stroke oil is tcw3 rated I wouldn't use if it wasn't.
