wanting to update my electronics,but not sure what to buy, are there some good tutorial videos out there for Hbird and lowrance or some local (Dallas) seminars on these or someone who can show you how to get the most out of these units

Get in a boat with someone that has the same unit you are going to buy, it will knock the learning curve way down. I have a Hbird SI and all I use it for is the temp guage. sarcastic

You Tube is full of instructional vidios on both birds and low's. They can also help you decide which unit is right for you.

I have a friend who hired a guide for the day, but not to fish..they spent six hours covering nothing but the use of electronics..He said it was the best money he ever spent
