Last trip out to the lake about half way through the day I got an intermitting beep (4 times) then nothing for 3-5 minutes and then it would repeat. Once at full throttle it went to a solid beep but I got out of the gas and it started back to the 4 beeps. Oil levels good....any ideas?

Thank you
Hunter

Check for some air in the oil reservoir under the cowling.

If you got a solid beep at wot its got a heat problem also. Tha heat signal will over ride oil or water. Only heat will produce tha solid beep. Everything else will be intermintent beeps.............jmo

Could it be intermittent beep water pressure warning? Solid beep is definately overheat like TLW said. Bad thermostat or bad water pump impeller or housing would cause this type of warning. Also check poppet valve. My XR6 has these warnings on hot intermittent beep to overheat solid beep.
