Grettings Bassers,

I moved from TX to OK and now back to TX, in the meantime I regestered my boat about 1 month before I moved back to TX. I put the OK stickers on the boat but not the OK ##### id tags. When I regester it again with TX will the Number stay the same or will they give me a new number? If so what is the best way to remove the stickers on there already. will a razor blade mess up any coating?

thanks in advance for replys.

Lee

You should get it back. It is assigned to the HIN/Title. I don't know how long if ever it has to be inactive until they might reuse it. I bought a boat once that had not been registered in several years and they did not change the TX#. Now, the title had not moved out of state either. Don't know if that will have an affect on it or not. I assume you transferred your title when you registered in OK. If you didn't, shouldn't be an issue.

Good Luck! cool

I recently put new registration stickers on mine. A hair dryer worked well to remove the old ones. And some stuff called Goof Off from Home Depot worked real well getting the rest of the glue off.
