Go pick up a yellow tournament choice catfish rod at academy. 11.99. Decent rods dirt cheap.

Until I can get some more work Im lookin at a budget of about $20 on the pole... I saw a good one on craigslist but the crazy lady wanted $100 for 5 old poles she found in a closet that have been there for 20 years. I called and offered her $20 for one of them. I am expecting a call back if she cant sell them. I want to make it original old school with the rod at the top of this pic... DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT KIND OF ROD THAT IS? By the way these are for sale on craigslist for $100 I know that is too much.

That 6000c will outlast you if you take care of it . I wouldn't trade it for a new one.

I was lookin on CRAIGSLIST for that fishing pole I needed and I ended up biting off more than I could chew. I got 20 poles all with reels and 2 tackle boxes FULL. Somebody died and this was left over... The rod with the reflective tape is the only one I had until today... I still cant believe it. I helped someone pay off their car title loan today and then I got lucky as hell. I even built my own rod holder out of 9 fence pickets.
