My son and I went to the Comal and tried some old holes. The action was not stop until we ran out of bait. The big rio, was a pig!
The colors on the fish in clear water are so cool.

Great job! Comal is a great fishery, specially now that most creeks and rivers are muddy

There are no nice fish in the Comal, especially bass, so you shouldn't even bother( at least until I get my certificate, lol.) All kidding aside, looks like another great outing on the Comal

Thanks guys. We used 2 bags of Gary Yamomoto baits and ran out. I had some live worms and gill fishing was hot. The fish would take it on the way down.

Chuck, you would love this spot. It had some big rios.

Great report and pictures JM!! Love the pictures too. I have lived here for many years and still have yet to figure out how to get a boat on the Comal (other than paddling upstream from where it dumps into the Guad). But even then all you can make it up to is that Garden Street Bridge. I would love to paddle the area around Landa Park.
