I would guess either the filter in the cup is dirty or could be the color paint. Each color reacts differant in a fluid bed due to heavier pigmentations they use.White for example is real heavy and doesnt fluff as well as say chart.

I have had that happen to me as well.... I usually change out the coffee filter I use... And it solves it most of the time... I have read that some guys use a paper bag instead of a coffee filter, and it gives a better flow?? I haven't tried it yet, but worth a shot.
I usually have this problem with the same paint colors, and thought it might also have to do with the dryness of the powder paint??? I'm not sure...
Hopefully one of the experts on here can give you some more defined answers....I am interested in what they have to say!

how much paint is in the cup? you may have too much powder in the cup. also sometimes you have to stir the paint a bit to help get it going.....

Tim may have hit it on the head. I have had this problem only with white, not pearl white just white. Other colors have boiled as it was supposed to. I tried putting less power when using white and it still didnt work for me. I'm not an expert but try other colors and see how it goes.

I hate White. Only color that does that for me.

If the pure white is to heavy you might try cutting it with clear. But no experience here I just fluff and stuff...

what type of bed? Is it homemade or what? If its homemade what are you using as a filter. I made mine and have 15 of them. I tried coffee filters and the lunch bags and I say lunch bags are the way to go.

Do you glue the lunch bags in place? Any problems with them coming apart when changing color? CH

I would not glue the bags, when you want to change colors just dump the paint and put a fresh bag in. The bag goes between the male and female fittings, holding it secure
