I have been fishing three weekends in a row now and can not seem to locate or catch any bass at all. We have been to Brandy Branch, Pines, and Monticello and it seems like there are no fish bithing eventhough I see them on my graph. I was catching a lot of fish before the winter hit but no luck now. I have basically been throwing every bait I have in the boat with no luck. Can anyone help me on some possible lakes/spot loacations or certain types of presentations to try?

You are not alone, January fishing has been horrible for me! I am hoping February is better as I start tourneys in feb!

If you put a lot of time on the water right now with all the weather variations and now the rising lake levels, you'll occasionally run into good schools of fish grouped up. But most of my good days we are really working hard and catching a fish here and there. But when you do get bit they are nice fish. If your fishing a jig like we have been 90% of the time, make repeated pitches to the good looking spots, I am talking sometimes 10-15 pitches to one good looking spot and a lot of the times they are there and eventually they will bite, and when they do, HANG ON!!

Best advice to give you is.......SLOW WAY DOWN! Use jigs, JB's, or shaky head. Find bait and fish slow and your luck will change.

Get yourself some golf clubs and sell the boat

Doug and Okie gave you the best advice. I fished a club tournament last Saturday and fished in one spot for about five hours. I knew the fish were there and it eventually paid off. Didn't get bit until we slowed to almost a stand still.

I am sprint runners dad and have same luck and was with him all three times.
Today was different with on upper end lop, and getting stuck in mud. Thanks to another bass fisherman, he had enough rope to pull us off the shallow spot. We going to have to put the reaction baits up and go a lot slower.

Sounds tome u fishin way to shallow for winter. And possibly too fast. When u think u are fishin slow enough slow down again. Let the bait just sit there sometimes. U be surprized how often it will just strart creepin off.
