It says I can view lakes without the GPS being on. So I selected a HD lake to look at and it just says " No Gps fix". how do you view the lake? Boat is inside right now. I have a 998c.

Are you in the Demonstration Mode or are you just turning the unit on?

You need to go to the Simulator when you powerup. Hit Menu when it starts up and then go to Simulator. Or power up with no GPS or Transducer Connected will automatically go into Point of Sale Simulator.
