Need any input on BassCat boats, good, bad or different! I am not trying to dog anyone's boat down, just need info from the folks who have them or have owned one?

Rick Pierce & company do many things very very well.

The Bass Cat is way above the typical production boat in construction. The innovations they use are years ahead of the "big" names. It is the only bass boat built using vacuum bag molding, which if you do research is a huge advantage over your typical open mold process. It eliminates the #1 cause of defects, which is voids or delamination of the layers of fiberglass.

Their commitment to their customers is bordering on fanatical. As an owner, you can bypass your dealer, and call Bass Cat direct if you ever have an issue with your boat. And their response is immediate and very impressive.

They aren't the "blingiest" boat on the market, but everything that goes on them is there for a reason. Nothing is hung on one just to hang something on a boat.

Do a little research, investigate how and more importantly WHY they build them the way they do, and I'm sure you'll be impressed.

It's the things you can't see that make the difference.

I have been a boater for 30 years.I am a big Ranger fan.But I have done my homework and my next boat will be a Basscat. They are by far the best built boat going in my mind.I like the way they handle also. They may not be the fastest or prettiest, but the workmanship is excellent. You will not be sorry for buying one.

Guys I have been running a Bass Cat for years and have owned a few other boats and can tell you they are awesome and I will never buy any thing else. When you talk about customer servise you can't beat it any thing you need call them and it's on the way. Like Rangerkev said the workmanship is top of the line.

I have owned 4 champions since 1987 and i have loved all four of them. I bought my first basscat in october and I will never own another boat, well I will it will be another basscat. I have a 2005 basscat cougar ftd with the 225 optimax. great hole shot, great fishing boat, a very fast boat and handles rough water better then any champion I have ever owned. I bought mine at rockwall marine and would send anybody to tommy yetts and his group of guys they are all great. the quality is second to no one. any questions email them and you will have a response from someone at basscat by the end of the day. customer service is way beyond anything I have ever seen. I have been in and around the boat business since I was 15 and I am 34 now. basscat owners are some dedicated people and very loyal.

Let me start off by saying that I am about as biased as it gets when you discuss Bass Cat Boats. I am a pro staffer for this fine company and will remain so as long as they are building boats. I recently owned several Tritons and the difference between the two are like comparing the differences between night and day. Bass Cat has one goal in mind. That is build the best boat possible with the angler in mind and ensure each and every customer is satisfied. As said above, no gimmicks and no teasers. Only a well thought out boat that performs with the best whether your talking rough water ride, top end speed, or fishing amenities. On top of that, the build quality is second to none and does use innovative techniques that make it possibly the best constructed hull on the market. If you have other questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Yep, great boats. They drive and perform great. Well built. Great company to deal with. No runaround. If you call the company and leave a message, they actually call you back. Good customer service whether you have a new Cat or a 15 year old one, like me.

I have been quoted as saying "without a cat I would take up golf!" I really would not own another brand, I have had 3 and loved every one. The Pierce family is unbelievably commited to their "family" of customers.

I have a Skeeter now but can say if I could afford it and when I can afford it a Basscat is top on my list. Just very impressed with Rick Pierce and his commitment to his customers and building quality boats. Also think that they perform exceptionally well and are built better than any other boat on the market.

I have a 2004 FTD and I love it. My previous boat developed many stress cracks so I asked the repair shop what boat do they work on the least and he said Bass Cat. I researched many boats before buying my FTD.

This boat is rock solid and I fish the stump fields of lake Fork. It has a very good layout and has tons of storrage. I really like the fact that I can have a sonar unit the size of the X15 mounted in the dash instead of on the right side of the boat. I can look forward while running the boat all the time. I don't know why some manufacturers make boats with tiny consoles that barely have enough room for the guages.
The factory support that you get with these boats is awsome.
