What is the best way to remove the white film that builds up on your motor?

I've always had good luck using Lime-away.

Pour gas all over it and light a match:) Not really.

I bought some stuuf called Duckeys at Auto Zone. Spray it on, let it sit for a few seconds wipe off. Might need to do this a few times on tough spots.

DOLLAR GENERAL SELLS SOME CLEANER MADE FOR FIBERGLASS SHOWERS THAT WORKS GREAT AND IT IS CHEAPER THAN DUCKY'S. THEY CALL IT "THE WORKS". I THINK IT MAY BE A DILUTED ACID LIKE THAT USED TO CLEAN SWIMMING POOLS. I JUST SPRAY IT ON A BRUSH AND SCRUB IT AND RINSE IT OFF. YOU MAY WANT TO USE RUBBER GLOVES AND TAKE CARE NOT TO GET IT IN YOUR EYES. IT ALSO WORKS GOOD TO GET THE CALCIFICATION OFF OF FIBERGLASS AND OFF YOUR SACRIFICIAL ANODE ON THE MOTOR. IT IS FAIRLY STRONG IN THAT IF YOU DONT GET A SMOOTH APPICATION YOU MAY SEE SOME "RUNS"....I USE IT FREQUENTLY ON MY KENNER TO REMOVE SOME OF THE STAINS AND HAVE SEEN NO DAMAGE TO THE FINISH. TAKE CARE NOT TO GET IT ON GALVANIZE ANY MORE THAN POSSIBLE AS IT MAY TARNISH IT .
