I was hoping to get some advice, I feel like an old catfish sniffing around for a new fishing reel... I almost swallowed this one whole! Is it any good?

That is a nice reel take a look at the alphamar 27 lb drag that is amazing i got the alphamar 16 i love it but if you realy like the 6500 check catfish connection before you make any decisions

i have the same one, it is sweet and will cast a mile, super smooth.

This reel is on ebay for $200 I for sure cannot afford it at this time... I am really looking for a round reel that will cast out far with a light rig and most importantly I want one with a line out alarm. This is the best one I found I just wish it was $50 like the other ones... Im gonna check out the Alphamar for sure.
