You little blonde headed Jew! Folks I have used the rod he speaks of, and while I hate/megaloathe crankbait fishing, it is a good choice for deep divers. On the mojos, he has 2. I have used both. Jay and I both like em. You cant hardly beat St. Croix. There is a 5 year warranty from the date of manufacture (date of purchase to the original owner, man. to subsequent owners) on all mojo rods. St. Croixs also has a VIN marking system with which you are able to find out the month and year of manufacture each individual rod was made by looking at the key on their website. Dependent on how deep you are fishing on average is going to influence your rod length. While I too throw mostly squarebills because I fish lake Millwood in AR, i fish shallow. If u fish deep, go with a longer rod. The mojo glass has nothing shorter than 7.4. However, they do have a 7' MHMF: medium hvy, moderate fast action. Which for shallow water (what I am classing as up to say, 8 feet deep) will be superb. As I said, crankbaits are not my favorite thing to fish, but mojos are good rods.

I got one from 6th sense. A 7' 11" with micro guides. I absolutely love it. U can launch a crankbait big time. Good action helps a lot for keepin hooks in em. Thats probably part of the secret to the 6th sense crew keeping them big fish hooked so often.

The 7'mhmf is not composite/glass, tho. Sorry. It is regular SCII graphite.

I just picked up a 7'6 duckett crankin stick and absolutely love it. Pm CarlosRivera for a good deal!
These duckett rods feel amazing in my hands. I'm thinking about switching to all duckett rods after the open in febuary!

I was in the market for a crank rod myself. After many reviews and due to my wife not killing me if I didn't stick to some type of budget I ended up going with the St. Croix. The 5 year warranty sold me along with all the positive reviews for a 120$ crank rod.
If you ain't first you're last.

If you got the extra cash the best rod hands down is Daiwa's Steez Fle-X-Lite (STZ701MRBA-FL). WOW!!!! Great rod but has a high price tag. If you hold it in your hands you will melt..

I bought a Team All Star 7' 3' crankin rod for 30 bucks. Academy used to have them, but I think they were all clearanced out. Also use a 7' bucco micro M for smaller cranks.

Used a KVD one day and loved it. Broke the same day, just got a replacement in and ready to use it. 7'10" for mid to deep runners.

Just get a CastAway XP3 Long Range Launcher LRC76-X and be done with it. Great rod, USA made built in Texas. They are nice rods and perfect for the broad range of crankin depths and sizes. ... Long Range Launcher ... +1

The Abu veritas winch rods are pretty good for the money... They're actually pretty dang light and have a moderate action. Theres a 7' 0" m for smaller/mid cranks and a 7' 6" mh for big stuff like 6xds and DD22s. They're not the quality of a loomis or a dobyns obviously, but not too bad. Think they're normally 99. A little lighter than the mojos in the same price range.
