If your an average to above average sized guy the only boat your going to be able to stand in with minimum worries and comfortably is the pro angler by hobie. Its a beast of a kayak though.
Anything else is going to be somewhat scary if your in a lake. Especially if you get some waves or wind. somewhere floating around there is a vid of my fat arse standing up, surfing back in on 5' breakers at crystal beach on my PA. it looks like I'm riding a porcupine with 5 rods sticking out of it. After seeing all those pics of little fellers standing in nice calm flat water, I thought I'd mention I'm 6'9" 330 pounds. If you want a anything close to kayak that you can stand on for hours in nearly all conditions a Pro Angler is the way to go.

Hang in there for another week or so. Our NuCanoe Frontier 12's are shipping February 1st and are scheduled to arrive in time for the second week of the Dallas Boat Show at Market Hall. Super stability, performance, and versatility are going to make the Frontier 12 a very popular fishing platform. I have had the personal opportunity to test paddle and stand in the Frontier 12 and would be more than happy to share my very positive experience. Also have literature available in the store or you can visit NuCanoe's website at www.nucanoe.com. Be sure to watch the video demonstrating the amazing stability of this fishing machine.

MR...I'm also a believer in the Pro Anglers. We have a long list of satisfied PA customers.
Regarding the Frontier 12, believe it or not, your svelte 330# figure would not be a big factor in performance or stability. The Frontier 12 sits at an almost empty floating height until it receives a 350# load.

This looks like a winner here. As wide as a barge though. But still looks like it tracks and paddles easy.

Dang!!! That Frontier does look nice. Would like to see how it stacks up against the Ride 135, Cuda and Coosa.
Semper Fi A big thanks to all that have served and to all the ones that are serving our country. GOD BLESS AMERICA
