Ready to have a little fun?  Those Sunday winds hit really hard about 2:00pm, not 4 hours after arriving 7 miles from the boat ramp. After the 50+mph winds hit, we decided to head to the ramp (Gary, I almost called you to pick up my kiddos) I had been in similar water offshore, and knew the boat could handle it. But, I also knew it was going to be an hour ride and wet one at that. Kids had on rainwear and had bean bags to absorb the shock. I'm glad the boat had self bail decks...I took two gushers over the bow but it was all gone in less than a minute. Memories for sure... Enjoy

I saw you guys head out of Holiday Sunday afternoon as I was cleaning fish had no idea yall were going across the lake...saw your dad at the ramp monday morning he told me about the ride back across...belive me I know the feeling yall had...have had more than I want to remember myself...glad yall made it back safe! Cool video!

WOW! The GoPro is cool! I luvM! Hey next time can you have some1 wipe the water off the lens? Makes for a better video If it is that ruff, I rest at the Tavern and or Public House

Makes for a better video If it is that ruff, I rest at the Tavern and or Public House I figured it needed to be wiped off as I was driving, but, to clean it would have meant I would have had to take my hands off tha wheel.

I've had trips like that  Somewhere in that pic is the nose of a 24ft Skeeter CC with a Minn Kota TM that has a 60 in shaft... A prertty good swell got me right as I was trying to take a picture.

the kiddos on the bean bags had the best seat in the house. Stayed dry, comfy and said it was just like a ride at six flags. Got back to the dock and they said: "daddy, can we do it again?" Good stuff...
