i have a 115 hp evinrude its a 78 and i was fishing the lake one day and hit a stump my ss prop got bent and my prop wobles lil when i turn it so then te other day i changed the lower unit oil and it was milky should i get the seal and see if that werks or get a shaft to and how hard are they to put on and how exspensive?

I'd bring it in and have someone do it. Check with your insurance company. Hitting something in the lake might be covered. Sometimes the impact will damage the needle bearings and if they fall apart, they'll get up in the head and you'll blow the engine.

i still tkae the boat out and it still runs great no smoke no bogging just a real smooth ride which is weird i was told as long as i change the oil out every three uses i would be ok but till i get seals or both shaft and seals

You got a bent prop shaft and that will mean problems down the road. You could loose a bearing or seal could fail. Water in the lower unit that will eventually mean a rebuild. You need to fix it. True you could run it for awhile, but is it worth it.

You don't have to replace the prop shaft you can get it straigtned. To drop a lower unit, replace seals and impeller, straigten the shaft is costing me ~ $300+ on a Mercury 225 Optimax.
