That's the one I go with. Updated daily. Just glad it's filling up some. Get some of my spots back in the water!

Yeah, I think it is overestimating to some degree, but it's been POURING all night and morning long at my house in Grayson County. We've easily had 5-6" here. Small lakes are overflowing, creeks are full, pastures are standing in water, and my backyard is my newest bass fishing hole.

I think Ray Bob and Texoma will be at full capacity or better when all of the runoff is over.

Adam it sure will be. Last year it was nice, but it will look like you could walk across now.

B if you fish the grass or not, doesn't matter. Having the grass will help the lake as a whole. I prefer hydrilla too, but any grass(habitat) is better than no grass for the lake.

Hmmm. Maybe it isn't overestimating the rainfall by that much after all.

From KXII-TV Channel 12:

"GRAYSON COUNTY, TX - The Grayson County Sheriff's Office reports several roads are closed due to high water from rainfall the past 24 hours.

Here's the list of road closed at this time in Grayson County:

Luella Road 1 mile south of Hwy 1417 at the bridge
Gage Road west of Miller Road north of Hwy 82
Horseshoe Road off of Hill Road near Tioga
Hunter Road near between Tioga and Gunter
Pecan Street east of Sadler
Dagnan Road @ Swindle Road west of Sherman
Jordon Creek Road, Collinsville
County Road 226 near Tioga
Range Creek Road near Collinsville
Foy Wallace near Gunter
Longhorn Trail off West Washington west of Sherman

The Grayson County Sheriff's Office anticipates closing State Highway 56 between Bells and Sherman at the Choctaw Bridge, as water is near the highway now."

I agree with you danny. Btw there is starting to be millfoil all over that lake. I went out 2 days ago and saw it in places that I didnt earlier this year. Have you noticed a lot more millfoil?

I have seen grass everyplace I fish except a couple spots way up North. There is also more hydrilla on the lake now since in the late 90's.

I'm sure it caught quite a bit. We got about 4.5 inches just south of Hubbard Creek.

That's about right. Hubbard is up about a foot. Fork is only up 4 inches. They need to close the gates at Fork.
