FYI, I find this website easier to read and more comprehensive in lake coverage.

Facebook post from my friend Rob Jordan, a ranger with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers:

"Glad to see this steady soaker rain we are getting. Our guage here at the Lewisville office recorded 3.84" in the last 24 hours. During that same timespan Lewisville Lake rose almost a foot (current elevation 517.21') and Ray Roberts rose a little over 3/4 of a foot (current elevation 628.82')."

I'm with you Adam. 2 feet tops. Probably won't get that.

I would be in the minority. I don't want it to fill up. I don't want the grass to get to much water over it. Last time it did that we lost it. Of course that was 8 feet and not 5, but don't want to chance it. Let it start growing again then fill up slowly.

Ill take 2 feet but am hoping for 4. Theres going to be a few presentations that will be absolutely rediculous in late february and March if it fills up. I expect some monster bags of fish. Bring on the T's to good ol Ray Bob.

I think we would be alright with 4 but there is always that chance that it would kill it. We certainly don't want that to happen again.

lol.... I guess I just dont fish grass on Ray Roberts. I could care less about it unless its hydrilla.... and yes its starting to come back just a bit (as everyone knows) BUt even if it does I still dont care.... I would rather be as far from grass on that lake as possible.

I think the radar is overestimating some but this is showing 10.85" just east of Lake Kiowa. Pretty much everything south of 82 here goes to RR.

Ray Hubbard is up 1 foot within the last 24 hours and that doesnt account for the runoff yet. Come on rain!@!!!!
