Flatheads are all over the place in the Trinity, fish near the dams, fish the fallen trees, get out soak somes lines and put in some time and see if you don't stumble across a monster

Where do you live? Gixxer fishes the trinity a lot in Arlington and could probably point you to a spot there

where can i find good catfish fishing on the trinity somewhere in dfw? flatheads? If it's anything like the Fort Worth side, just find a turn/bend in the river and fish the deep hole in the back end of the turn. Throw something nasty out and they'll bite it. That's for winter, of course. As it warms up, you'll have go when the light is dim (there are too many moccasins for me to be on the Trinity banks at night).

I think access is a problem in a lot of places. I hear alot of people saying they fish the trinity in arlington but I have no clue where the get to the river without the harrasment of law enforcement or crossing private property.

yes, this is important, the Trinity is strictly catch-and-release for me, which is why we usually don't aim for cats.
