Thanks to a lot of installation help and instruction from the best of the good guys,Mr. Ernest Paty, I'm ready to start making friends with my new Humminbird 998 side scan. What a blast. Thanks Ernest.

Mr. Fridge that Humminbird is a weapon so treat it nicely. It is an unfair advantage to finding fish, structure, and channels like no other I've tried. I have one too and would not fish without it now. I was joking but I'll take any advantage I can find to catch more fish and you will too.

I got a HB 998 about a year ago. I am still amazed at the technology. You'll wonder why you took so long to get it.

If we concentrated on the really important stuff in life,
there'd be a shortage of fishing poles

Glad he was able get some of the "bugs" worked out and sorry I couldn't have been more help on Friday...we'll have to hook up again sooner rather than later and put the flying elbow drop on 'em!
