I usually fish Lake Dunlap but I'm tired of waiting for the water to come back up. I'm planning on a trip to Placid next weekend. I've never been there before but I'm hoping to make up for lost time. Any tips?

I have actually been a couple of times the last few days. I didnt catch many, especially with any size, but the jig bite worked best for me in tight spots and any type of submerged brush or branches.

only fished south of the 90 bridge, never went up from the ramp. action was slow, only saw one other boat land one.

Thanks for the advice Chad. I went out Sunday evening, threw a jig and ended up with 6 in the boat. The biggest was right under 5 pounds.
