when in idle it runs fine but when i go to open it up it revs up but doesn't go any faster? if i lower the rpms it back to idle its ok, and its not slipping out of gear. any help would be good.

Hub is spun in prop. Does'nt make any difference if it's a pin style or thru hub. All props have hubs except for some that are made out of plastic.

A prop shop can replace the rubber in side the prop for about $35.
