Which do you prefer?

I prefer Cork. Nostalgia perhaps. They tend to hold up a little better IMO too. I own several of both.

I actually prefer foam. To me, they are more comfortable to hold for pong periods of time. However, I greatly prefer the look of cork.

Cork..... looks better but is subjective.

EVA foam.... light, sensitive and easy to shape for customs.

Hyperlon.... More durable, heavier, lasts longer, hard to shape.....


For bass rods, i would choose EVA.
