Anyone use or used the Revo MGX? If so, what are your thoughts on it?

My thoughts are I wish there was a lefty.

they're not available (yet) in the US. Apparently more folks use leftie stuff overseas and in Japan, as their reels tend to get released concurrently over there.

That reel's coming from Malaysia btw (still, a VERY reputable seller).

it looks just like good, really smooth, light and will cast a mile even with a 1/16oz shakey head.

The Revo MGX is an amazing reel. I have been using one since last summer and I cant find anything but good about it. Of course it is very light and it will cast a long long way. Thumbs up on the MGX!

I've got two and have had to have both of them replaced under warranty. The plastic pieces on the breaking system shattered to pieces in the first 15 min of use with both. I have not had any problems since they were replaced but I'm also being a lot more careful on my casts. If it were me I would stick to a premiere.

I wish the drag was stronger. Also putting line on is a pain. However, the sucker does cast a mile and backlashes are far and few between. Thumbs up!!

Love mine. Caught several 3lb fish with no issues. The true test will be in April at Falcon.

don't think I am going to go with the MGX. They ended up selling for more than I can really spend on a reel. Thanks for all the feedback!
