today can be described in one word...TERRIBLE. we zero'd out today and we fished from about 7:30 to 3.....it was a long hard grind. I broke a fish off, had one fish follow my fluke, and my dad lost a pretty decent one by the boat....it was just "one of those days". i had a buddy go out there and he also zero'd out. everyone i talked to out there said they were having a really tough time. i know there are some guys on the fish out there, but i sure can't find them.

this lake is absolutely nothing like last year, i think i could have caught more fish at marine creek today...

I think you were warned by a few. You'll get no sympathy from me!

Welcome to Squaw Creek. It has been a tough bite for nearly everyone that has fished out there this year. There are few fish being caught but they are super healthy.I don't have an answer, maybe Squawboo does.

There were a few decent sacs caught last weekend in a tournament but they aren't giving away any secrets.

yeah, IMO there are extremely few fish up shallow, if any at all. if i were to go tomorrow i would only fish deep...i marked a lot of fish around 20-40ft but im not much of a deep water fisherman, thats something i need to work on....
