Has anyone installed one of these yet?? PLease let me know if you like it. I knocked about 1 - 1.25 inches off of my skeg the other day, and wanted to put the SkegPro on as opposed to getting it fixed right now (I still have a lot of my skeg left, so I know this is mainly cosmetic, but I like my stuff to look good).
Character is who you are when nobody else is around.

Keep in mind, a sharp edge can create cavitation. I would get it fixed as soon as is reasonable. Cavitation is caused due to sudden pressure drops. If you reduce the pressure of "water" enough, it will turn to vapor;, hence the cavitation problem. There is nothing worse than a jagged edge to initiate that problem, especially at high speed.

I have 2 boats with the Skeg guard. I put them on before I had any damage. My reccomendations if you are only a inch or so short install the guard. welding on a skag is a never ending thing. they will break above the weld easily untill you finally break off near the housing
