I purchased a Stratos 295 Pro XL, 1996 model this past spring. I have tried to figure out the size of the gas tank and think it is at least 40 gallons. I have not had to fill up completely and don't plan to with the price of gas. Just wanted to know for sure. Can't find in owners manual. Thanks to whoever might know.

Don't know if your tank is under the seat or in the back, but you can check the tank for the manufacture tag. It will tell you how many gallons it holds.

It doesn't matter how you find the pot of gold, all that matters is that you beat the leprachaun.

Your tank is a "L" shaped tank that is under the seat and up behind the back of the seat. The newer models have one single tank of 46 gals. the older had a dual tank in the same place that had like 22 in each side of it...

Here are a couple of sites that you can use to convert cubic inches to gallons. Just plug in the cubic inches of your tank and convert to gallons (us). Measure your tank in inches, (height X width X length) then plug in your cubic inches and calculate.
I used this to figure the capacity of my tank, it wasn't marked either.
