i have hit this thread a few times myself and have no interest in driving to bfe farm market whatever.. however, i like to see reports.. so how about a few more reports folks? my slip on lewisville is producing 10-12 ft of water (which is the bottom of said slip) on minnows next to x mas tress that somehow ended up in there. havent tried jigs because i am happy with minnow productivity. Females are full of eggs and are a good 14-15 in slabs. Smaller minnows produce more fish as they seem to capture the smaller bite. But i keep a bass minnow out there as well in case mama is hungry. Bite is very subtle.. matter fact i think if i was using a slip cork weighted correctly it would never go under.. IMHO

heeheehee....killerwhale, thanks for the chuckle. it may sound like bfe but it is actually in one of the fastest growing areas in Texas, sandwiched between Mansfield and Midlothian! I like fishin slips on LL. i have caught many good crappie from there over the years!

Yep, no more fish in Mt. Creek....water done washed them all out......I will post back first of March when the park opens and I get my crappie boat up in the creek with some minnows or live shad and tell ya again how there are no crappie in there..LMAO....
