The spool of 14# test I used was a bit stiff for my liking. Also, it got a little cloudy after a few uses. I switched to Seguar Invizx & haven't looked back since!

My partner and I have tried Vicious several different times each trying to give it the benefit of dought, and have finally came to the conclusion that all in all it is junk. All we throw is Invis-X now. Spend the extra money and don't get your heart broke like we have several times.
If you are coming to Grand Lake O Cherokees to fish or vacation be sure and check us out, www.honeycreekoutdoors.com. We are a full line sporting goods store that has what you need to enjoy the beautiful lakes in NE Oklahoma.

Vicious pro elite is awesome. I like it better than invis-x personally and yes it's strong as hell. Flipped 20 for three days at falcon and only broke off once. Still drug 4 over 7 pounds out of the brush with it including my buddy catching a 9. The regular vicious flouro sucks horribly though. and for those wondering I like it better because I find it a little thinner therefore easier handling and less memory.
I can backlash toilet paper.

I've used the New Vicious Elite in 20# for traps and swimbaits and like it. It's 100x better than the old Vicious. I've used Seguar Red label, Sunline Super and the vicious in the past. I actually like the Sunline Super best and it's only a buck or so more than Red label. That being said, a pal of mine can get me the Elite for a steal, so I'll be using it. I like the Elite, throws well, manageable. Overall I think it's good stuff, but everone has their favs. Bryan.

I still have a bitter taste in my mouth for their original version
Not going to give them a chance with the new stuff I'm happy with invisX. So I have no reason to change

It's not horrible but it's not that good either. Seaguar Red Label is very good line and is less than Invisx. It's also only about 2 dollars more than Vicious.

Vicious is junk. Or at least the first, last and only shot it had for me. Broke off 20 # 6 times in one trip. Its like calling a big guy tiny. Imho red label is one of the best if not the best flouro out there. I personnally like it better than invizx and not just the price. It just seems stronger. I have broken odhams and strike king football jig hooks with 15 lb red label. We have to bump the troll motor for xtra force to break it off.
