How would you fish a VERY tiny, narrow pond that has dingy, cold water with leaves on the bottom; a dock and a VERY deep side and a very shallow side. The bass run as small as a pound, but get as big as 7 pounds and there only forage is bluegill. It gets no pressure, its on private property

A t-rig, a spinnerbait and a lipless crank. Stick to bream colors on your crank and spinner bait. And natural colors like green pumpkin or even blue flek on your soft plastics. I would try and cast down the bank where you think the drop is that way your baits or in the natural strike zone longer and if you can't than fish deep to shallow.

I would use spinning tackle and a small worm with a split shot crimped on about 8" below the worm. Toss it out towards the deep water and let it sink to the bottom and then let it set for a 20 seconds.

Then I would tighten up the slack and pull that worm across the bottom using the only the rod, reel in the slack, then pull it across the bottom again, reel in the slack ... over and over.

Set the hook anytime you think something feels weird.

If you have kids, let them catch the bluegill. They'll have a blast and you can then put them out for a biggun on a wide gap or circle hook.

The only way I can give you an honest answer is for you to take me with you so I can show you "how I would fish" this pond.
