Don't know if this is right area to post this question...but thought I'd try it here first.

Just got a new boat and I'd like to keep it out of the weather, if possible, but I haven't had any luck finding boat storage. I'm looking for something more than a carport in the Richardson/Plano/Garland are...any ideas.

Thanks in advance.

Whatever you choose to do, never store it wet. Make sure you wipe it down and open the hatches before you store it in a totally enclosed area, otherwise you will get mold.

Where do you plan to use it?
The closest stall storage that I have seen in your area is around Lake Lavon. Some in and around Wylie, others in the Parker/Lucas area. I don't know what they charge. But for reference, I give $300/year for a stall on Texoma where I keep a trailer -- boat is on a hydrohoist.
You might call Joe Castro at Collin Park Marina. 972-442-5755.
I'm sure he would either have something or can recommend something for you.

lemme know what you find. might want to quietly slip an old crappie boat past short lady's nose and i'll need a place to put it.
bought one once at a garage sale -- she named it the piece-o-s--t. Had a ball with it though.
Fun to have an old boat you can't hurt and don't worry about.
