Tough as nails. Didn't generate except for a couple hours sat morning. Warmest water was 65 degrees!!! Everyone we talked to struggled. We caught a few but it wasn't anything near to the trips I usually have out there.

Ton of boats yesterday and only a few this morning... anyone figure em out?

Yes it was ,i was hoping on better fishing myself. We only caught a few .A guy at the ramp said they caught 10 at the outlet early . Better than we did .

Generated all day when I went on thurs, but it was 30 deg out and 30 mph winds. Hard fishing for 9 bass up to 5.5 lbs and 2 cats. Mostly on jerkbaits. Any way to know when / if the plant will be running?

Tons of people out there Saturday and heard lots of complaining with not much catchin goin on. I looked down the lake and there were boats absolutely everywhere. Probably the most I've seen out there in a while.

lol, I saw several boats using that technique. First thought maybe they had a honey hole and were sharing it, but come to find out they were just bored and visiting.

Tough Friday afternoon as well, caught only one about 5:15 pm off of a crankbait in about 4 ft. of water. Nice looking 3lber though.

This weekend was by far the worst fishing I have ever had on that lake and I spend around 15-20 days a year out there between Nov and Feb. I tried everything that normally works for me and about 10 things I've never tried before since those weren't working. I fished from 8-5 on Sat and 8-1:30 on Sun and that resulted in a total of 5 fish in the boat. Granted all of them were 3-5#, but those are still the worst numbers for me ever for that amount of time at Monti. I fished everything from 1-30' of water, points, pads, humps, timber, rocks, reeds and a toilet and that's all we could find.

Went friday with my dad. Got there at 9 and left at 3. Caught a nice 4 lber at about 12 in 8' of water on a jig and pig. Saw a lot of fish on the graph but none would bite. needless to say will not be going back to monti for awhile since its 2 hours from my house. Sounds to me like its being overfished.

And I almost went this weekend! Glad I did not. I saw the blue bird skies and warm weather and decided against it. Sorry y'all had a slow weekend.

I fished yesterday(Sunday) had 9 on drop shot one going 5lb.i just loaded up from the ramp and had one fish so I'm going to the house!
