what do ya'll use to make your tires look shinney with out the tires cracking over time? I use pledge on my boat for shine, but need some advise on the tires.

Go to the parts store or Wal-mart...they have all kinds of stuff....I use some liquid silicone looking stuff....Son of a gun works well as does that green dish washing soap...don't know how to spell it...

Once you wash you tires real good, let them dry. Go to WalMart and get Tire Wet in Auto Department. Works great, looks new and slick.

triton 21 It is a big mistake using pledge on the fibreglass. The clear coat will dull after any extended use. There is no return once it is dull. Unfortunately I know from experience. I talked to Ranger about the clearcoat problem and they guessed immediatly the I was using pledge. Their advice never use oil based furnature polish on clear coat paint. ken a thanks for the info, I know some dealers use it for the boat shows, that is why I was using it. I will just use wax. I apprectiate all the info.
