I've been drifting my kayak on Lavon. Four rods times three ounces each means I don't even need a drift sock until the wind really blows hard.
Drifting gets me out into the open which means I don't get a sled ride into some trees.

Do you have a drift chute/sock or rod holders mounted on your boat? I might be able to go out with you Monday, I'll let you know tomorrow afternoon.
